We understand that large changes to the site can be temporarily disruptive. However, in the long run, these new upgrades will maximize your productivity:

• Faster downloads
• Through new technology, each search results page will download more quickly and reduce the time you spend waiting.

• Quicker viewing (and fewer clicks)
• The thumbnails for multiple file versions have been consolidated under one thumbnail. This allows for more options per search result page and makes it easier for you to find the file version you need.

• The page numbers have been adjusted to provide more screen space for thumbnails. You can also jump directly to a specific page by clicking on the page number or by entering it into the text field and clicking on the arrow next to it.

• Better communication
• There is now a section for comments in MyLibrary, so designers and sales reps can communicate about the images stored there. The comments automatically flag the file and link the comments entered in MyLibrary to the image. To learn more about MyLibrary and Flagging files, read the section below on search icons.

• Tailored search results
• More options have been added to the refine search feature, allowing you to easily change your search criteria to find the right file.

• The search results page has several new features, including quick links to view results by subscribed and unsubscribed product areas, additional refine search options and new download file options. To learn more about the new search results page, open the following PDF. - Download PDF

• More options
• Matching search results for unsubscribed products are now included in your searches. You can click on the product name and view the matching results in a separate window, enabling you to determine what services will best fit your needs.

• Not all Web browsers use the latest technology needed to maximize your productivity. Upgrading to the newest version of your browser or switching to one that is recommended will enhance your experience not only on AdBuilder.com, but on many other Web sites as well. Homepage Searches

• Keyword Search
• In the upper right-hand corner, simply type your keyword(s) in the box and click on the search button. Make sure "Art & Ads" is selected instead of "Co-op."

• Predefined Advanced Searches
• On the far right, you'll find several quick search menus to help you locate the newest art and ads, art and ads by upcoming selling seasons, spec ads by topic and special section tab covers by topic.

• Advanced Searches
• Click on the "Advanced Art Search" tab (second from the left on the top of the page) to search by keyword(s) and additional criteria: popular styles, products, categories, file types, file formats, file resolutions, ad sizes, color types and filename.
• You can also click on the product name of any subscribed area (far left column) to access the advanced search tailored to that product line.

• Overview
• After performing an art & ad search an icon set will appear below each result. An icon legend is located at the top of the results page detailing each icon.

• Download
• To download a file click the icon.
• By clicking the arrow icon the corresponding file will be downloaded to your designated download location.

Add to MyLibrary
• To add a file to MyLibrary click the icon.

• Add to cart
• To add a file to the cart click the icon.
• More information about using MyLibrary can be found in the Add to Cart article below.

• View related
• To view related art or ads click the icon.
• More information about using the View Related feature can be found in the View Related article below.

• Flagging files
• To flag a file click the , , or icon.

Add to cart

The add to cart feature allows users to send files to a central location for emailing or downloading. The cart allows users to share commented files with other off-site users.

Flagging files

The AdBuilder.com file flagging feature has been developed to prevent the overuse of images in a single publication; to keep track of all files used under a single parent account.

File flagging allows users to mark a file as used, make comments about the file and view previous comments. Being more aware of file usage will allow users to consistently create fresh ads.
